Kuzco: Will you take a look at that? Pretty pathetic, huh? Well, you'll never believe this, but that llama you're looking at was once a human being. And not just any human being. That guy was an emperor. A rich, powerful ball of charisma. Oh, yeah! This is his story. Well, actually, my story. That's right... I'm that llama. The name is Kuzco... Emperor Kuzco. I was the world's nicest guy and they ruined my life for no reason. Oh, is that hard to believe? Look, I'll tell you what. You go back a ways, you know, before I was a llama, and this will all make sense.

Tina would like to begin this post about this joyous new year by remembering something not-so-joyous that happened toward the end of 2007.
Casey Calvert, guitarist for Hawthorne Heights passed away very unexpectedly last november, leaving all of us at llamalicious very sad indeed. while we never had the privilege of meeting said Casey, we wish to tell the members of his band and his family that we are remembering them in our prayers.

on to happier things: HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY!!! whilst i was cruising the web, i discovered that the top new years resolutions are:
1) spend more time with family
2) lose weight
3) enjoy life more
tina thought that was cool, and while very much a bunch of good ideas, has proposed her own list:
1) dye your hair some funky color
2) donate lots of money to llamalicious! (or, if you prefer, just send us an iphone!)
3) and last but not least, try at least one new chocolate recipe per month.

So, the other day Tina's cool new friend, MR.SUPER COOL LLAMA-DUDE DUMBLEDORE (seen below) got a starbucks craving, and off we went. While we were there, we discovered that the cups, when put together the right way, make great building-thingies. Anyhoo, with a wee smidge of help from Dumbledore ( I'm his friend, so I can call him that) Lookie at what we did!!!

i have come across a regular monty python gem!

whilst i was researching llamas for speech i had to write, i stumbled onto the credits for monty python and the holy grail which mentions, of all things, our fuzzy llama friends.

Tina's New Friend!

By now I'm sure that you all know what a coffee lover Tina is, so it won't be any surprise to you to hear that she customarily goes with us on our caffeine-jaunts-about-town. Well, we went to this cool kinda hippie place called Uncommon Grounds and guess who was sitting on top of the piano, just waiting for her to arrive? YES!! You guessed it! It's Mr. Charles Coffee-llama! Other wise known as Llama Bean. Or Percy for short.

llamas are fuzzy, llamas are cute
llamas are cuddly and don't chew on boots.
when i see a llama, i want to smile

Tina's exciting trip to NYC!!

Tina's trip to NYC was mucho excitingo for her. She had never been on a plane before, and found it rather exciting.She traveled in style around Times Square! (it was very exciting!)
Tina loved the Hersheys store. (most exciting!)

Tina loves NY! (extremely exciting!)
She was very excited to see such a famous land mark. But she didn't like the ferry. (she was also excited!)

Tina meets Mr. Global Warming

One of Tinas very first outings was to Barnes & Nobel where Mr. John Kerry himself was signing copies of his latest book/heresy. She and some of her non-llama friends to meet&greet the great Mr. Global Warming.at first, she didn't want to get her picture taken with him but after much wheedleing and cajoling, we convinced her to do it.
Tina can be very stubborn at times. She really wanted one of the cookies, But contented herself with a Starbucks Frappicino.(see Very First Post) Tina apologizes for the awkward layout of this post. She is still learning.

Oh my gosh this is sooooo cool! I'm actually posting on the web!

Okay that was totally teenage-ry, but everyone has to have to have these little bursts of sillyness & non-lucidity. (ha! Big Word! top that!). Anyhoo, I'm sure that by now, you have read my compatriot kieraLlama's blog explaining all the history of how this got started. Well, I would love to add more, but Doctor Who is on, and I must find out how the Doctor saves the world this time!!
